System Requirements

  • TalkMaths requires a licensed copy of Dragon™ NaturallySpeaking® (DNS) to be installed on your machine, and the free extension Vocola 2. We have tested TM on Microsoft® Windows® 7, DNS 10, 11 and 12.
  • Vocola 2 for Windows® works best with Python 2.7

Installation

TM is enabled for any text editor by having an application-specific Vocola file present on the users machine (see Figure 2 for an example file).

Where should I put the Vocola files I downloaded ?

To find the folder used by your Vocola, select Natlink in your "all programs" menu, and then select "Configure Natlink via GUI". You can see the current folder path in the Vocola section.

How can change my Vocola directory ?

Select Natlink in your "all programs" menu, and then select "Configure Natlink via GUI". Click on "Disable" and then on "Enable". You can now choose the directory you want.
